Hotels near Cares Trail, Poncebos

Location is absolutely great. So close to the ruta de cares which gets very busy. Breakfast is also really nice and the staff are very sweet. Rooms are a little dated but does the trick. Happy we stayed here.

Location of the hotel was good as it is just next to the funicular that takes us to almost top of the mountain. The room is spacious and clean and comfortable. Food in the restaurant, especially the dinner, was exceptionally good. I love the lamb (roast lamb? I forgot) which was the best among the food in my 29-day travel in Spain.

The breakfast was not very interesting and was not too diverse. Although not too diverse, it was decent in terms of quality. The location was amazing.

Wonderful location - so peaceful. Watching the river, mountains and birds was just perfect. Room with huge balcony/terrace actually overhanging the water. Lovely walks too. The owners were wonderful hosts and the home cooked food was excellent. Hotel is simple but comfortable and spotlessly clean. Lots of free parking spaces.

This is a very beautiful and lovely place for stay. The room is clean and comfortable, the bed is very comfortable, jacuzzi is perfect and dinners are delicious! I advise everyone to have dinner in the hotel - dishes and desserts are delicious!!! The breakfast is good: toasts, ham, cheese, fresh orange juice and good coffee, fruits, yogurt. It is very rare to see a house-hotel made with such love from the owners. There are green grass, beautiful flowers and amazing views. I wish the owners all the best and I would like to come back.

Comprehensive satisfaction. I would highlight the pleasant and cooperative receptionist (greetings Maria), the quality breakfast, the many relaxation areas of the hotel and the very pleasant location in nature.

Perfect location, generous breakfast and lovely rooms, spacious and clean. Nice and simple but still comfy and a pleasant stay. Great access to Picos de Europa.

Amazing, cosy apartment with all that we needed. Very clean as well. Parking close to the apartments. Kitchen with all equipment that is needed. Bed was big and comfortable. The Landlady is super helpful and super nice person, we had a great time and for sure we want to return to this place. Thank You!

The breakfast was not included but we ate next door at the restaurant adjacent to the hotel and for 5 euros per person we got 2 eggs, ham, bread with butter and jams, and coffee….a superb value

heating, which is not the norm in mountain guesthouses in spring. warm water. cleanliness, breakfasts quite large for Spain. bed, bathroom of good quality. disadvantages: night lamp did not work and the doors were hard to open.
