Do not hesitate to take a boat trip.
Do not hesitate to take a boat trip. It can be used as a hop on hop off water bus and is fantastic. You get spray and excitement and views of both sides with a return trip. there are a number of available pier stops.

The property is in walking distance of lovely parks, gardens, shops and a ten minute walk to Derwentwater. Amazing countryside, well planned walks and activities for all ages and abilities. Very dog friendly. Just perfect, we fell in love with the Lake District 😍

Our room was lovely and although not modern and up to date perfectly reflected the building and its surroundings and everything worked and was clean. The restaurant for breakfast was great and there was more than enough options with a lovely view across the lawn.

Breakfast was lovely and I thought the dining room was professionally set out with the placement of the tables, so that you are not overlooked by other guests. Would definitely recommend and will definitely stay again. It's a 10/10 from me.

The location is great, and you can walk down to the lake shore directly from the hotel garden which is lovely for a pre-dinner stroll. The staff are generally helpful and friendly.
