The location is brilliant . Really quiet and next door to the Harry Potter landmark of the cottage where he was born ! We were greeted on arrival and made welcome . It's a short walk to The anchor where we had a really good dinner and admired all the Christmas lights . Lacock has very little in the way of street lights so it was even more magical at Christmas . The four poster bed was comfy and the little house was warm and cosy . Breakfast was brought to us at the time of our choosing , there's a very good coffee machine . Everything was clean and we have no complaints .

National Trust owned. Great place to visit .

National Trust owned. Great place to visit . House and gardens (remodelled in Tudor times from a former abbey) including Fox-Talbot museum of photography, photographic exhibitions, gift shop, book and plant sales. Also historic village, with tearooms, nice pubs, interesting craft shops. National Trust car parking and tearoom with facilities. Allow plenty of time for your visit.
