The most spectacular thing at that hotel is Mimi from the reception! Not even friendly and cute - she gave us a very warm feeling from the beginning till the end!

The staff were very polite and helpful. They kept my luggage for me after I checked out. The hotel is nice, new, and clean. The location is good, close enough to Central and most of the major sites. I loved the breakfast, including all the different breakfast options they give you. I tried the Sunrise breakfasts and the Japanese breakfast, both of which were delicious! A lot of variety. I am happy it wasn't a buffet breakfast. This way, you can receive your own personal, warm breakfast and don't have to fight for space in buffet lines.

The price to quality ratio is excellent. Understandably, this is not a luxury hotel, but I found it to suit my needs. The location is close to mid-level escalators, which are the most convenient way to *return* to the hotel. The decor may be past its prime, but everything worked; aircon was excellent, room was clean, with great views from this particular room. A quiet and relaxing location, not the best for parties and chav-culture… which is a plus in my books.

Room 602 has a nice view, the location is perfect sooooo central and there is NO breakfast. It is near central station walking distance ot IFC and much more

Location is a 5 min walk from Sheung Wan MTR. If you have a lot of luggage, it may be better to just get a taxi from HK Airport Express Station (one stop away from Sheung Wan MTR) which should be costing you less than HKD50. Once all that is settled, the location of the hotel is super convenient with a very nice combination of local vibes and fusion influence.

Fantastic location, the staff are friendly and helpful. The are plenty of restaurants nearby and shop too if you like shopping. Easy to move around and walking distance to MTR station.

Location! The hotel is being refurbished and the Rio S are looking good. Nice size and very comfortable.

The concierge, Eddie, is incredibly helpful (as are all the staff) but Eddie stands out.

From the moment of check in until the check out the staff was treating us truly exceptionally. They were so kind and so welcoming that it made our stay unforgettable. The location is great, close to train station and metro. This will definitely be a hotel that we will return to!
