Located between the main pedestrian street and Zagreb's old town close to Ban Jelacic Square, this hotel was refurbished in 2011. Founded in 1827, Hotel Jagerhorn is the city's oldest standing hotel. The location of the hotel is phenomenal - you are basically smack in the middle of the city center.

Seen from almost everywhere in Zagreb. Undergoing major external renovations but still accessible within. Worth more than just one look. The surrounding area is full of good, cheap cafes, museums and just ordinary people worthy of meeting. Lovely people, even the souvenir purveyors were honest about their own goods lacking in authenticity...and would not besmirch the others plying their trade. Go anytime of day or night and just look up, around, down and every-else. Don't forget to light a candle. as you enter, as we would like the cathedral to stay standing for a good while longer.
Not allowed to go in as was wearing sleeveless top and shorts. Unlike other cathedrals they don't provide cover up so just cannot go in. The cafe across the square from the cathedral is very nice to sit outside and look at the cathedral exterior.
Located right at Jelacic square in area great for walking and browsing through shops geared towards tourists filled with locally made goodies. Cathedral looks beautiful and offers quite place to think, meditate and /or pray while admiring gorgeous architecture and learning local history.
Women are not allowed to enter if their shoulders are showing. Staff were very abrupt and judgemental towards some young girls wearing sleeveless tank tops. Rules could do with entering the 21st century.
I really liked the apartment. Everything was very clean and the host was very helpful. The location is quiet. Also, very simple check-in using the PIN code. Don't forget to look at amazing lights coming from the Zagreb Cathedral at the night, it's available to see through the apartment window :)
