Staff were all very welcoming and kind, especially loved the lady at the reception when we checked out. Breakfast def worth the price. Stunning view from room, comfortable bed and pillows. Everything was perfect. Literally the best hotel I stayed in Iceland.

That was a very good choice for accommodation during our road trip in Iceland. Easy to get in - just follow the directions given by the receptionist via booking or email. We were looking for something a bit remote and peaceful. And that was it! Self check in worked flawlessly. Plenty of space to park your car. Our room no 5 was at the top of the stairs right around the corner. The room was specious, modern style but very cozy with comfy beds and pillows. Everything was spotlessly clean. In the bathroom you can find local cosmetics and you can buy them at a sister hotel. They smell lovely. The view out of the window just breathes taking. You don't have to worry about the temperature inside the room. Heating is automatic and keeps the room very warm. There is a large freshly renovated porch/terrace right outside of the room from which you'll have an amazing overview of the surroundings and as a bonus and if you are lucky with the weather you can get a chance to see aurora above the mountain (right side of the porch above the stairs). With this room comes a discount for meals in their sister hotel (10% off). The sister hotel is very close - 2 minutes by car. It was a beautiful place, big and elegant and the restaurant was excellent for a late dinner. Make sure that you mention your discount! They are not always aware of that. This is a perfect location because it was very close to the glacier lagoon (20 minutes -22.2 km) and diamond beach. We had booked tours next morning and getting there from our room was a very easy with no problems at all. I forgot to mention the most important thing. This place has their very own waterfall behind the building... their is a short distance easy path (more challenging in the winter but still fairly short about 5 minutes). If you have any questions you can always message the reception and they will respond straight away. Great communication.

The location was fantastic, and we loved being able to see and hear the waterfall from the loft bedroom. We only stayed one night, but it was the most magical night of our entire trip as we got to see the northern lights dancing over the waterfall.

There was a very nice and friendly woman at the reception who carefully explained how to get to the apartment. We were pleasantly surprised by the accommodation, everything was modest, but clean and tidy.

The property was clean and the room/toilets/common area was well equipped and well maintained
