Beautiful location, our room was in one of the old cottages with a sea view, we had a fantastic evening meal (extra charge for this) prepared by Ingrid & her staff and the morning breakfast was equally as good. bring slippers as shoes aren’t allowed in her dining area and have to be left inside the door.

The three cottages (we stayed in #3) seem to be brand new. They appear to be tiny homes. They are great! There's a nice kitchen/living/dining room that has a sofa bed if needed (we didn't use it). A separate bathroom with an enclosed shower and a separate bedroom with two twin beds (next to each other). There is electric "radiators" for heat. The unit is nice and accommodating. We have enjoyed staying here. The owner is good at communicating via the messaging through Booking.com.

Midhop guesthouse is located in Þingeyrar and offers barbecue facilities. This guest house features a garden and free private parking.

It is near a river, mountains so very peaceful and quiet. The house was amazing and warm. We would have loved to stay longer. Perfect to relax and wind down. Hosts very nice and kept very privat. Love to go again!
