Beautiful clean hotel and facilities. Lovely rooftop bar, very close to train station which was brilliant and bus outside to take you to edge of old town for €1. Great breakfast and was able to leave luggage while we visited Matera for two days. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

The staff was amazingly nice and friendly. The setting is very particular in a good way. I like it that they care about the environment

The hotel is very clean and staff are amazing. The location is next to the train station I didn’t like it. The historic city is very nice it is a most to see.

The staff was very friendly, spotless clean, facilities were a big plus, the gym, pool and spa were great to spend remaining time on a rainy day. Rooms were modern, clean and confortable, we liked it a lot The shuttle service (24h) is a big big plus. To go to town you got the train or taxi.

Pleasant rooms, excellent location near a bus stop, a small park, and shops.

Proximity to train station and great breakfast

Everything from the kind and helpful personal, the great and delicious breakfast to the cleanliness and spacious room. Great location as well. 5 minutes walking from the train station.have a gym and great rooftop. I even had a nap there.

Location is very good, close to Centrale and Old Town. Cleaning was outstanding. Premises are modern and well kept. Staff were always around to assist.

Perfect room, great staff, best location.

absolutely very friendly staff offering you all the needed support! after the airline company ruined our vacation schedule, repeatedly changing the date of the round-trip flights, we had the big chance to find out a very professional and supportive staff at the JR Oriente Hotel, helping us to save as much as possible and enjoy the time. the accommodation was perfect - room in a very good condition, absolutely clean, very comfortable beds, balcony, great view, very tasty breakfast. the location is perfect! in the middle of everything! all you would like to find/visit is just a step away - old town, theatres, modern shopping area, seaside promenade, train station, bus station. we plan to come back soon!

Modern kind staff beautiful and great location

The hotel is very clean, well positioned and the staff is very friendly. Also, it was very beautiful decorated for the following Christmas.

Sorry, this is a very later review but better late than never. Lovely helpful staff. Fully modernised hotel. Clean and fresh, very spacious room. Very comfortable bed. Wonderful bathroom. Had everything we needed. Breakfast was great. Very handy location. Alessandro (spelling?) on the front desk was so helpful. Couldn't do enough for us. Gave us 2 really nice free water bottles for refill (which don't leak as someone else said). Water station on our floor. Can't say enough about this hotel in a very handy location. Highly recommended. Well done

Excellent location and amazing customer service

Our stay at Hotel Moderno Bari was truly a 10/10 experience. The hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. We stayed in the Family Deluxe room, and it was incredibly spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed. Everything was spotless, the towels and amenities were great, and the overall atmosphere made us feel very welcome. A special thank you to Claudia at the reception desk — she was extremely kind, helpful, caring, and professional throughout our stay. She made our experience even more memorable with her warm attitude and hospitality.
