It is really beautiful and cozy. It even had real and original frescoes in the room we had. The staff was very friendly and helpful, we even met the owner who told us about the rich history of the hotel. PS: the breakfast was excellent!!

What a staff! The best hotel staff I have ever seen. We had a small issue because of the photos displayed in our Booking.com reservation showing a desk space in the room and apparently not all rooms have this desk. As we were expecting it (my wife had work to do), we asked them if we could change rooms and they sorted out for us by upgrading our room! They did everything to make our stay be an absolute blast. Reserved restaurants, helped us with all our questions and recommended/reserved a truffle hunt + wine tasting in Tuscany that was the PEAK of our trip. I would not think to stay elsewhere whenever I'm back in Florence. Shoutout to Desiré, Lavinia, and the manager Angela! Thank you for everything! (I'm sorry if I forgot anyone's name)

Ponte Vecchio

Peruse the shops perched above the River Arno on this pedestrian bridge. Dating back to 972, its history is the stuff of storybooks. Ponte Vecchio’s seen it all from noble feuds to ruinous floods. Once a market where vendors sold meat, the smell of raw flesh tossed in the Arno disgusted the Medici dukes. Today’s retailers are much less carnivorous (they’re jewellers).

A must if you are in Florence, not so much for the view across the river but it only takes a few minutes to walk across ~ good to learn its history so you understand its importance to the city. The shops are tourist traps for price though but if you want something, get it anyway!!

Ponte Vecchio is an amazing spot to buy jewelry from jewelers that have been in the business for centuries. The price of gold is standardized so not much point going from each place to ask about the price of gold, instead find a store that specializes in what you're looking for and has the style you like. Some places specialize in gems, others gold, others vintage pieces.

Go really early for great photos without crowds or sunset and night. Bellisimo. Be careful when walking over the bridge in the day as it gets very crowded and artists put their drawings on the ground and if you walk on it, you buy it!

You have to buy something from 18-karat gold here☺️! It’s not cheap but gold is tradition in Florence ( and leather). But be prepared that it’s only not crowded in the morning (when only few shops are open though).

Location was incredible with absolutely stunning views of the ponte vecchio, Arno and uffizi! Large and spacious apartment, heat and hot water worked very well, only on the 1st floor so easy to access. The apartment was kept clean and had so much character! We also loved being across from the supermarket for all of our family needs.

The location is wonderful! We were there at Christmas time and the Ponte Vecchio was beautiful to see lit up with the light and sound show each night. The size of the apartment and washing machine was welcome after traveling by train and staying in small hotels earlier in our trip. It was just the right place for us all around.

Wonderful location. This apartment is in the center of everything, close to Ponte Vecchio, Piazza Republic, Duomo, Uffizi. We enjoyed walking around the old town and many excellent restaurants recommended by Lorenzo. The apartment itself is super clean and comfortable, perfect for family with kids. Lorenzo took time to welcome us at the apartment and explain everything. His introduction was a perfect start for our vacation in Firenze. I would highly recommend this apartment looking to spend time in this charming city.

This apartment is very central, very very close to the Gallerie degli Uffizi, the Galileo Museum, and the Ponte Vecchio. The AC worked wonders to keep the place warm on a winter day and the size of the bedroom is amazing. Communication with the manager/s of the property via WhatsApp.

Beautiful, small hotel in a historic building, with lovely decorator touches and a caring staff. Nicely decorated for the holidays. It’s just beyond the hustle and bustle of the Ponte Vecchio/Uffizi area, so a bit quieter - yet only a few blocks’ walk away down the lovely Arno River. Lovely buffet breakfast every morning. Small dogs are ok; and they were lovely and kind in accommodating my dog.

Great location! Right in between the Duomo and Ponte Vecchio. My room had a window to a side street, so I did hear the trash/cleaning trucks early in the mornings. Street noise doesn't really bother me, but sharing becuase that may be an issue for some. Breakfast was fine. Great service! Will definitly stay in this hotel the next time I'm in Florence!

This is a spacious apartment with an amazing view of the Ponte Vecchio bridge. There is a tiny balcony you can open the door to let fresh air in and taken in the beautiful views of Florence. Thankfully the beds were very comfortable. Another bonus, was a garage is conveniently located just steps away if you have a car, be sure to make a reservation though.
