Fantastic location, 2 min away from sukhbaatar square. Coffee shop, pub and mongolian restaurant right below the hotel. Select the suite for a large room and toilet- my advice, as the twin sharing can be quite cramped.

The most important part is that it is very close to the city centre. Sukhbaatar Square is 10 min walk away from here. In addition, supermarket, restaurants including KFC and many other outlets are nearby. We can get public transportation such as bus and taxi by outside of the hostel. Moreover, breakfast is included in the hostel tariff. Already hostel tariff is so reasonable. It is definitely a good deal. Furthermore, it was clean.

History of choosing Guesthouse I chose to stay here because a Mongolian we met at the boarding gate at KIX advised me to book a hotel in advanced and told me that Sukhbaatar District is a central location. In fact, the location is very convenient: The surrounding area is within walking distance of 24-hour convenience stores, supermarkets, the Japanese Embassy, Shangri-La Mall, the National Amusement Park and The Sukhbaatar Square (i.e. the airport shuttle bus stop). The Hard Rock Café Ulaanbaatar is diagonally opposite.

Amazing location, just 100 m from Sukhbaatar Square. We used transfer from airport organized by hotel (available for a fee), driver was very punctual and reliable. The staff was extremely kind. Our room was very big and equipped with every comfort. Breakfast was delicious.

The Lotus Guesthouse is a lovely budget guesthouse located centrally in Ulaanbaatar, only 10 minutes walk from the airport bus stop at Sukhbaatar square. We stayed in the twin private room and felt it was excellent value compared to surrounding hostels, was very spacious with clean facilities and a nice breakfast. I would absolutely recommend staying here!
