Hotels near Östermalms IP, Stockholm

Very nice hotel with great breakfast of good varieties! Rooms were spatious and beds were comfortable. Would reccomend and would stay here again in Stockholm. Metro line is only 200m away.

The location was excellent in Karlaplan which is quiet area to live and enjoy the atmosphere. 5 minutes walk from metro station and just near to shopping mall, where the restaurants, cafes and supermarkets are located, nice places to eat. If you enjoy walking, just 20-30 minutes walk to downtown, to Strandvagen and even, we easily walked to Gamla Stan. 20 minutes walk to Djurgarden, where Vasa Museum, The Viking Museum, ABBA the Museum, Junibacken and Grona Lund are located. The breakfast offered the diverse choice and the staff was super friendly and always supportive. Hospitality tray lobby makes you feel welcome. The hotel has a garden where you can sit and enjoy your time talking or having dinner. The size of the room was suitable for 4 people and the quality of everyday cleaning was of high standard. Internet connection was without any problems.

I can really recommend the Hotel Scandic Park. Points such as the excellent, central location, high level of comfort and cleanliness as well as the always very friendly and helpful staff should be highlighted. Thank you.

The hotel exceeded our expectations. We had originally booked just one night, but ended up staying for a second night — and it was arranged easily. The atmosphere was relaxed and the hotel itself was cozy and inviting. In addition to breakfast, we also had lunch and dinner at the hotel and the food was delicious. Our preferences were taken into account with great care. The spa was a relaxing experience. Overall, it was a fantastic stay — we will definitely come back!

We absolutely loved everything. The reception staff welcomed us very warmly. We arrived earlier than expected, cold and tired, planning only to leave our luggage, but the receptionist kindly checked whether our room was ready. It was, so we were able to check in early and were even offered breakfast, although it was not included. From the very first moment we felt welcome and taken care of, just like at home. The interior is beautiful, with a cozy, library-style lobby where you can sit, enjoy a cup of tea, and admire the snow-covered city through large windows. Breakfasts were excellent, rich, and varied every morning. The location is absolutely perfect.

It’s a nice property and extremely close, within walkable distance from a hub of pubs and restaurants, close by to other excursions as well. Room was nice too, well equipped, liked the extra touch of a Marshall in the room, daily chocolates, complimentary wine (once) and daily drinking water. Housekeeping can for sure do a better job, the phone in the room was hideously dirty like I wouldn’t touch it if someone paid me to as well, I noticed that the housekeeping missed a few things here and there over the duration of my stay, cause I was there for 4 nights, so that was my only concern. The basement parking which is next door and accessible from the hotel elevator is a great touch if you’re renting a car, the parking charges are ridiculously steep but parking all over Stockholm is excruciatingly expensive, but if you’re getting your car or renting one, you would’ve already calculated the damage it will do, having said that, I did not like the fact that we had to stop by the reception each time and ask them to open the garage door while going out and on more than one occasion, I had to come inside from the parking garage and ask them to open it to let us in (Good thing it was two of us, so one could afford to get out and do this), even though they gave us a daily card but mostly it stops working by evening 🤷🏼‍♀️ …. Beats me! Breakfast was repetitive yet good, be sure to be on time, as they start wrapping up, by closing time on the dot. One can choose to order eggs by choice etc., for an additional fee as well. But overall, I wouldn’t let these little botherations spoil my experience with the property. I had a good stay, had a room with a balcony with a lovely view of the park and can see the markets on either side of the streets. Bed was comfortable, good hot shower, all amenities were provided, room was of a good size as well, closet space was good. Overall, I was happy during my stay.
