Staff was friendly and helpful.
The restaurant was also great, amazing food and service.
The location was ideal, and there are boats to the island just in front.
If we come back to Bled, I will come back there for sure.

Beautiful gorge, with a finely landscaped hiking trail.
Beautiful gorge, with a finely landscaped hiking trail. Do bear in mind the following two things:
1) you have to buy a ticket online in advance, you can't do it at the ticket office
2) the walk through the gorge is easy and doable, but the way back, across the gorge, is a pretty tough hike.

Very nice walk and great views.
Very nice walk and great views. The only thing that is disappointing is that you cannot get close to the water, put your hands/feet there. Just made a similar route in Germany, at Almbachklamm and marble ball mill (Berchtesgaden) and you can walk in the water, play with rocks , create your own damns (which is great for kids). But for some families it may be a plus, if they are afraid for their kids :) .

The most stunning place in all of Slovenia.
The most stunning place in all of Slovenia. We had really heard very little about here except that was a ski resort. It is absolutely beautiful with its emerald green river, stunning snow capped mountains and beautiful lake. A real hidden gem.

Incredible nature, though your visit will greatly depend on weather, season, day of the week and the actual time of arrival.
most of the trip follows a narrow path along the gorge and river, so the less people the more you get to enjoy nature and not stand in line for the next selfie spot.
the way back to the parking lot is quite long and is actually harder than the actual path of the park.

Beautiful!
Beautiful! Although it is not far from Lake Bled, we got lost in the middle of our drive there. Our car's navigation system did not work. You should use Google map instead or ask locals before you leave for Vintgar Gorge. Regarding parking, the official site was not updated. There were at least three parking sites available. You should decide which one is best considering which route you take for return. If you want to dive into cold and crisp water at the end of Gorge, bring a swim suite. We took the longest route for return. Although it took longer, we enjoyed it, watching peaceful animals (goats, cows, sheep) and sounds of (cow) bells.

The gorge is an absolute must if your going to bled but just...
The gorge is an absolute must if your going to bled but just be warned the walk along the gorge is a one way trip along the gorge .the walk back takes longer but you can get a shuttle back it you wish I think it was q0 Eurostar per person.
But still absolutely beautiful

Liked the location and view from the stay. It was with beautiful surroundings and the mountain view was excellent. Took us just 5 to 7 minutes to reach Lake Bled by car.Everything was nearby. Very near to Vintgar gorge by car.

Very clean, spacious and tastefully furnished suite
on the ground floor with a kitchen, sitting area, bathroom and bedroom. Designed to accommodate someone in a wheelchair. Very close to Vintgar Gorge, Lake Bled and nearby grocery stores. Very clear instructions sent via email regarding how to access the property.

The apartment was very good and spacious. The location is about 8-10 minutes away from the town, so the car is must. I don't think there is public transportation. Not many restaurants around, so you may need to go to town of Bled for food. The grocery store was 1 minute walking distance.
We chose it for the price, cheaper than the apartments in the town. Its also close to Vintgar Gorge. (3 minutes drive).
Overall, the stay was very good.

The Bled Rose's location was nearly perfect -- right by the lake trail, convenient to restaurants, the castle, and the Vintgar Gorge. The breakfast was outstanding -- both the selection and the beauty of indoor and outdoor space. The hotel staff went out of their way to be helpful.

The apartment was very clean and very well stocked for cooking. The location is spectacular!!We loved being right on the lake and watching the rowers. We took one of the rowboats over to the church and even saw a wedding in progress. The first hour for the boat was free for guests. It was a quick 5 minute drive to the Vintgar Gorge parking, although we could have walked it in about 25 minutes. Every evening we took walked into Bled for dinner ( about 15 minutes). All in all the perfect location

The couple who runs the hostel are amazing. I felt at home and welcome within the first 5 minutes and it only got better the longer I was there.
There’s a little river running behind the property that you can chill by and hear as you fall asleep at night. It’s very peaceful.
Easy walk to Vintgar Gorge and a little walk and bus ride to Bled with buses running regularly and *mostly* on time.

The hotel is a Passive house. One of the only ones in Slovenia. It uses almost no fossil fuel energy. Room were comfortably cool. Felt great to stay at this hotel. Perfect location within a 5 minute walk to Vintgar Gorge.

Magda is a terrific host - friendly, generous with drinks and treats, and making sure we had a great stay. The apartment is very well appointed, bedroom large with a comfortable bed, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Bikes were available for use at no charge and we could ride to Lake Bled in about 10 minutes. The location is very close to the Vintgar gorge and with a great view.
