Natascha, the front desk representative - "Above and Beyod" gets an entirely new meaning when she is involved. I got there at 02:00 AM, middle of the night, after a 12hrs flight and over 20 hours in transit, and due to my mistake with time zones, I had a booking only for the next day, and they were fully booked. I tried looking for other options at Booking.com, and none were available at reasonable prices and the options were very limited. I also was so tired I thought of finding a bench on the street to rest my head for a couple of hours because I could not go on any longer. Natascha calmed me down, let me sit at the lobby as long as I needed to sort my affairs, while she was calling close by hotels that she knew to see if there is any availability. She then checked, and found out there was a room at this property which wasn't occupied, and was technically not available for rent, but she managed to arrange that I get this room. and charged me the same price as my booking with them that I had for the next day (I was willing to pay much more at that moment). Natascha, you are a life saver. I will never forget your help. She also lent me a charger for my phone, as I didn't get the chance to get an American plug and olny had the European one. Also, the rest of the staff is very nice, the place was spotless clean, 2 minutes away from the subway, easy and cheap transportation to all the main places, comfy bad and pillows, hot shower, a safe I could fit my 14' laptop into, many towels, ac was good. Breakfast is coffee, bagels, eggs, jam and orange juice, not what I use to, but was good. I would stay again.

the hotel has a fantastic quality - and if you are lucky to get a parking place in the backyard (which is free), the room price become a real bargain! the only shadow is the pedestrian area from the hotel to the metro to go to Manhattan - a lot of poor disoriented people addicted to drugs, but in the 4 nights we came late, nobody was attacking us :)

I have to say, I’m really positively surprised by how good this hotel was.. i would have never expected it. This is by far one of the best hotels I've stayed at for this price, and it even incl breakfast though we never got to try it. Our room was cleaned every day and the Bronx isn't as bad as everyone says. It’s only about a 2min walk from the train station!
