Just wow Great atmosphere Very clean Great breakfast staff is great.

Excellent location for our trip, near the venue where we were to attend an event, access to freeway, shops and restaurants

Friendly staff. Good swimming pool! There are nice restaurants around the hotel, including Japanese restaurant.

Excellent location with a convenient overpass bridge to access South Coast Shopping Mall. Extra tall beautiful Christmas tree right outside our window.

Super clean facility, rooms are very spacious. Also sraff is really great here, doing a fantastic job! We were a family of 4 and felt here really great

Location and extremely helpful staff besides a clean room

My first impression was amazing. Reception looked so clean and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The manager was extremely polite and helpful.

I liked the attention in reception. Specially Christina Wu. She is amazing . Thanks

First impression upon driving into facility: very clean parking lot, clean, painted building, great color palate for hotel, very good, visible “OC” sign on building. Excellent service from front desk staff, upon arrival and leaving the next day. Very clean room, comfortable beds. Good selection for breakfast in the morning.

Always great service here. Had minor issue with room and they promptly rectified it. Customer service here is the best! I always stay here when I'm in Orange county. Location is covenvenient to all.

Housekeeping personnel was friendly. Location was central. Checkout was fast. Parking was spacious and plentiful. Breakfast provided at normal hours.

Ayres Hotel is very well managed and maintained. Friendly staff, thoughtful gestures and running like a well-oiled machine. We had a beautiful stay and enjoyed all the facilities the hotel offered - especially the restaurant.

The hotel and its location used to be ok, years ago, when it was still a Days Inn, and I visited it whenever I was in Orange County. I actually liked it, because it is close to downtown.

The location and staff. We moved at of California, but when we come back, we found it more economical to utilize short term housing and this place makes a great alternative to renting. We all know that if you rent for even 6 months, you still have to surrender a moths rent worth of a deposit, and live the the smell, and the headache of a freshly painted apartment, with none other that the value brand at Lowe's. Oh I know a lot of people that are trying to get out of their leases and go with temporary housing. People have also asked me "why don't I do Airbnb", when we did for a month, out of 31 days, 3 days consisted of no water. There was also no heater and they had a major pest problem at times. We were so pleased to move out of there and into the Travel Lodge here in Costa Mesa The staff is very nice, caring and make checking in and extending easy! They are probably the best staff in the area, they are very helpful and really, we want to have pizzas deliver to them some night for being so awesome. We also want to always tip and give the cleaning staff hostess cupcakes for going above and beyond when they clean. This place literally blow alway extend stay America and Comfort inn and suites COMBINED! This hotel and it's staff truly values your business, and they show that by setting a new standard in service!

Very close to a lot of shops and food, easy access for taxis and travelling around. The room was huge. Staff was really nice and helpful

Staff wete great, darcu, arun and mano.

The breakfast room was clean and food was stocked for all.

Great staff, great room, fab restaurant for dinner and a super easy location

The beautiful decor. Made this stay feel luxurious and still cozy

Location excellent. Walked to Segerstrom to watch play.

Facilities excellent and good value

The main thing was the staff who are amazing especially Silvia & the manager Nile & not forgetting the the housekeeping staff manager Maria who insures the rooms are cleaned to perfection . The location is a walk away to John Wayne airport. I can not praise this hotel enough. It is not fancy but very welcoming & comfortable. The only negative is the shower is a fixed one not a hand held.

5-minute drive to the airport (early morning), hotel organizes a shuttle to the airport, perfect for a stay before taking a flight from SNA

Very nice pool area. Great location. Calm surroundings.
