My stay was absolutely amazing; I spent the whole weekend there celebrating my birthday and the staff went above and beyond to make it more special. They beautifully decorated my room and made me feel like a Queen from the moment I arrived, what touched me the most was how patient and kind they were, always willing to help and even taking pictures for us to capture the beautiful memories. The owner is very hands on. There was a cable stolen in the area, and he went over and above to ensure all rooms had sufficient power and access to all amenities. Comfortable and clean accommodation and very accommodating staff.

For many years the Avant Garde lodge has been an ideal hub for us for our trips to Kruger, Botswana, Zimbabwe etc. Fine rooms, safe parking, good food and a very friendly staff. We will definitely return again.
