The staff at Rugged Country Lodge were personable, helpful, and kind. The thoughtful and attentive details to each room were appreciated. We reserved two rooms and both were neat, quiet, clean, and cool - very much appreciated after a long, hot day of travel.

Comfy motel is clean, cozy, well organized, and the owners have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. Breakfast is nothing fancy, but hits the essentials. The rooms feel like home and are well kept up. We had a road trip that involved six motels/hotels in swift succession, and the Rugged Country Lodge stood head and shoulders above the rest.

We loved our stay at this quaint lodge! As many of the other reviews say, it was very clean and comfortable. I loved the breakfast and how it was in its own cute little dining area called the “Rooster Room.” I also liked the toiletries that were available in the room. It was not anything fancy, but it was very cute and cozy. I felt like the price was well worth our stay. We slept great and had a quiet night. I would highly recommend this location!
