With far-reaching views over Fish River Canyon just below, the private chalets at this property have rooftop windows. Each has an outdoor shower, and an outdoor pool is available. This lodge is amazing and offers stunning views over the Fish River Canyon from each single room. It's quiet and if you like nature and stillness, this is the place for you! You can do rim walks on both sides that range from 45-75 minutes that I would recommend doing during sunrise and sunset time. The food is amazing as well, and there is a good vegetarian alternative, as well as a good wine card. When I found out that the wifi was much better in other rooms and told the staff that I need to work and have video calls, they gave me a new room after the first night. Amazing! The best part was that the staff really went the extra mile. On my first morning there, the staff had noticed that one of my tired was losing air. They then found out that a screw was inside of it which makes the air slowly go out. They then changed the wheel of my car, and they even took the broken wheel to seal the whole in the tire that I'd have a backup in case I got another flat on the way back. When I ask what all of this cost me, they said "we're here to help. If you want to give anything, it's up to you but not required". I was completely stunned and very grateful. And then I had the problem that I didn't have the right tool to loosen the screws on my wheel, so the manager lent one to me in case something else happens and then had a courier pick it up in Windhoek at a cafe I was working. I've never experienced this kind of service and am really grateful to the people at Fish River Lodge. I'll definitely come back!

Surrounded by natural African gardens, this eco-friendly lodge offers bright rooms with a terrace overlooking the Gurib River bed. I loved Alte Kalkoefen! The sleeping lodges were beautiful and overlooked the savannah with constant wildlife moving through. The food was also great, I would absolutely recommend signing up for dinner and breakfast while staying here, relaxing at this lodge was a highlight of my trip!

Great stay in the middle of nowhere, with super friendly and knowledgeable managers. Great service as well, and really everything included. We enjoyed the flexibility on activities offered and loved the canoeing on the Orange River.

Kalahari Game Lodge is located on the C15, just 20km from the Mata Mata Border post between Namibia and South Africa. The lodge offers an outdoor pool and on site restaurant. second stay there and as always perfect.

Offering an outdoor pool, en suite rooms and an outside terrace, the historical Seeheim Hotel is located in Seeheim, a 30-minute drive from Keetmanshoop. This was an oasis is the dessert. Janco let you feel at home so easy. Food was excellent. Well done to all staff for doing this great in the middle of nowhere. You'll see us soon.

Felix Unite Provenance Camp situated in Noordoewer overlooks the great Orange River. It features a restaurant and WiFi is available in the business centre. Great location overlooking the river with a lot of things going on if you wanted to get involved. The area is fantastic with lovely gardens, large pool, good restaurant. Really enjoyed our time at the camp where we found everyone friendly and helpful
