Hostal para conectar con parte de la selva amazonica y la cultura del sector, siendo un lugar seguro, tranquilo y con acceso vehicular en motocarro, desde el centro de iquitos. Loreto nos enseñó mucho de la cultura e historia del sector, muy simpática. Leo, siempre atento y nos dio un paseo por el rio con pesca incluida, lo pasamos super bien.

A jungle paradise just outside of busy Iquitos. The eco-lodge is on a beautiful property full of birds, plants, nature sounds, etc. and the pool is such a nice way to relax and cool off. It's very easy to get to via shared car aka colectivo. Some Spanish would definitely help, but with a sense of aventure and Google translate, you'd be fine!

Con vista al jardín, Intillama Jungle Lodge EIRL está situado en Paucarpata y tiene un restaurante, servicio de traslado gratis, snack bar, jardín y terraza. Lo que más nos gustó fue la manera en la que todos te hacen sentir como en casa. La amabilidad, y luego la ubicación y el entorno, son privilegiados, estas completamente conectado con la selva. Gracias de corazón a Segundo y a Lewis, nuestros guías, y por supuesto a Rosita por hacerlo posible. Nos vamos plenos.

Contando con una terraza, Libertad Jungle Lodge cuenta con hospedaje en Yucuruche. The staff are exceptional. My guide Joel came and picked me up from the airport and took me to the lodge in safety, which is approximately 2-3 hours travel. During my stay I felt completely safe as a solo traveller. The food was fresh and amazing every time with freshly made juices from local fruit in every meal. The lodge is beautiful and the rooms feature your own balcony with an incredible view. Regarding the facilities, the lodge is located on the river and is built with natural materials, so of course, expect to see insects. You are in the jungle after all! The mosquito nets do a really good job though, so I didn't have any trouble sleeping. Expect to hear wildlife noises from your room, although I quite enjoyed waking up with the sound of birds every day. The activities were super organised, and they offer a big variety for day and night experiences. All of them are wildlife experts, you get a personal guide, a personalised tour and a boat driver at all times. Don't forget to tip your guides! They will totally deserve it as well. They try their hardest to make your experience an amazing one! If you are crazy about wildlife, I recommend Joel. He could spot all sorts of animals from a distance, so I got to see a lot of different species. Both, with Wilson, the canoe driver, they had amazing coordination. I totally recommend the lodge and I would do it all over again. When you get there, you will see there are other lodges as well, which seemed to target tourists more, but not sure either. I am happy I chose this one and got to support their community!

El Jacamar Lodge Expeditions está ubicado a orillas del río Amazonas, en medio de la selva y a 120 km del centro de Iquitos. Excellent, rustic stay and our guides Christian and Segundo couldn't have been better! Very cool guys and they are legit one with nature they know EVERYTHING about the Amazon life. The lodge itself is super cool - literally in the middle of the jungle. And the food is the best part of the stay, breakfast, lunch and dinner and they make sure you're never hungry! Excellent stay, felt safe the entire time including the included transportation from the airport and back. Highly recommend Jacamar if you want to truly experience the Amazon of Peru.

The Amazon Muyuna Lodge is an ecolodge in the Tamshiyacu Tahuayo Communal Reserve , situated on the Amazon River shore, 3 hours from the centre of Iquitos. Lovely setting that felt safe but also connected to nature. You’ll automatically get signed up for excursions with a guide shared between you and anyone else who speaks your language that arrived that day. About 1 out of 3 excursions will be hiking and 2 out of 3 will be by boat. 4d3n was perfect, but the most exciting excursions were captured in the 3d2n plan, and if you stay longer you spend a night camping. Food is buffet style, and they accommodate dietary restrictions well. Maybe we lucked out but January was a great time to visit! Highly recommend this lodge!

Este albergue está situado a orillas del río Amazonas, en la Reserva Comunal Yanamono, a 80 km de Iquitos. Las instalaciones son muy completas, el personal es muy agradable, discreto y atento. Las excursiones estuvieron muy bien organizados, completas y puntuales. Los traslados en lancha son muy cómodos. Nuestro guía fue Antoni. Un tío encantador, resolvió todas nuestras dudas, nos generó muchísima confianza en la selva, las explicaciones de animales y plantas eran completas y muy entendibles.

El Milía Amazon Lodge se encuentra en Iquitos y ofrece vistas al río, restaurante, recepción 24 horas, bar, jardín y terraza. Todos los alojamientos tienen patio con vistas al jardín. Everything, the lodge is in the Amazon. The food is excellent, the staff are amazing. It’s clean, the pool was great. Surroundings and to sit in the garden looking at the Amazon river watching the dolphins you couldn’t ask for more. Also the excursions laid on were out of an adventure novel.
