The Monastero Sant'Andrea was a wonderful place. First of all, the view over the grounds of the basilica of Saint Francis was amazing - both in the evening and in the morning (a fog over the valley the basilica stood out of) and day. Second the welcome was great (challenging to drive through Assisi to get there though) and warm and so was the hospitality for the breakfast. Third, on the top floor the view over Assisi and the valley was amazing. Fourth, the location was so close in the city centre that all could easily be done on foot. Finally, the car was parked in a protected area that was closed for the night, yet 10 m from the entrance of the hotel - wonderful.

We spent one night at Casale Serena and were truly impressed by the peaceful charm of this beautiful place. Surrounded by the stunning Umbrian countryside, the atmosphere was serene and relaxing — a perfect break in the middle of our journey. We were especially grateful that our large dog was warmly welcomed without any issues, and a cozy crib was already prepared for our baby. Despite our late arrival, we were kindly received at the restaurant and served a delicious homemade meal, which made us feel right at home. The rooms were beautifully decorated and full of character, adding to the overall magic of our stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the authentic and tranquil side of Umbria.

This is a very nice hotel with a relatively large swimming pool, considering its size. Swimming in the pool was quite refreshing after the whole day's walk throughout Assisi's old town. The hotel is located in a very quiet and pleasant suburb of Assisi (about 10-15 minutes' walk from the Assisi main gate).

Set in the centre of Perugia along the main pedestrian street of Corso Vannucci, Hotel Locanda Della Posta offers accommodation in a historical building of the 18th century.
