The highlight of my stay was definitely the reception staff; they were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make me feel at home. Located on a dead end street this new hotel is in Paceville (St Julian) near all the hustle and bustle but also close to the main road which connects St Julian to Valetta. Easy to be accessed and to be departed by car/taxi/foot. In a walking distance there're plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants. We were upgraded to a room with balcony which was very clean and comfortable and had a great soundproofing. The king size bed & the pillows were very comfortable for us. The 40" flat smart tv including YouTube & Netflix streamed perfectly. Minifridge, safe, kettle and expresso machine are available in the minibar. There're plenty of plugs (UK type) including USB A and USB C near the bed. Excellent breakfast with a lot of options to choose from. During the day & evenings the breakfast area becomes Jumu restaurant which we definitely recommend especially in case you arrive late for check-in (good selection of Maltese and international vines and excellent service). Indoor spa area was very clean and well maintained includes a finish sauna, a 4 persons jacuzzi and a ~15 m/5 m indoor heated pool which is opened round the clock. A decent sized gym is also available in the same spa dedicated area. On the rooftop there's a second ~20m/7 m pool also heated with a great view over St Julian's downtown. The parking available in hotel's underground was great to leave our rented car since since around the hotel the parking places are limited.

We really liked our short stay in San Karlu. Hotel staff was really friendly and helpful. Especially girl in the reception, Mayar. Rooms were nice and clean. Rooftop pool area was also really nice.

Rooms are excellent value with modern technology and good styling. Pretty big too! Brenda was lovely to deal with and made it easy to access the room as my flight was after check in desk was closed. Location is upmarket, plenty of shops and bus access and not too far a walk from St Julians, but much quieter than staying directly there. I'll definitely be back!

The apartment was very clean. Every day the staff cleaned the apartment and changed the towels. They checked whether we were satisfied with the cleanliness of the apartment. They are very approachable, kind and ready for any kind of help. The view from the top of the building was perfect. The only pity is that the exit is locked after noon, so we could not enjoy the night view. I especially want to praise that the staff met us on the last day after check out and allowed us to use the toilet, shower and pool, which meant a lot to us because we had a late flight back home. Thank you very much for everything, you are wonderful, we will gladly come back again!

We came to Malta to celebrate my daughter’s 16th birthday. It was very pleasant to receive a cake from the restaurant during breakfast, as well as another cake from the hotel during the day with a greeting card. They also arranged a premium taxi transfer from the airport for us. The hotel has new rooms equipped with everything needed, and the staff is very friendly, both at the reception and in the restaurant. The breakfasts were tasty and reasonably priced at €12 per person. There are both outdoor and indoor pools with heated water. The only downside is that there are only 8–10 loungers near the indoor pool, so it’s better to reserve a spot in advance. Towels are provided at the entrance, which is very convenient. Many thanks to the hotel for the care and comfortable stay!

A new hotel in the newly revamped palazzo. Amazing huge room with a big bathroom and balcony overlooking the garden! Perfect for that luxury stay. Hotel is located below 10 mins away from the airport, perfect for a quick stopover. Breakfast is located in a beautifully decorated room and food is amazing! Servers from the restaurant were polite and welcoming, specially want to mention Deepak, Salman and Vishal! They went to the extra mile to check in with guests during breakfast and made it exceptionally special!

The host was very kind and responsive. Every time we needed something she (Monika) would respond right away in WhatsApp and provided us with whatever we needed. The apartment was very clean and cozy. There is a Nespresso machine, and some capsules were there as well. The location was just perfect, the Exiles Bay is in the neighborhood and also there are pubs/restaurants nearby and the bus stop was 2 mins away. It's a nice city and you can enjoy the city in the walking distances as well.
