YIT Abentofail is in the historic centre of Guadix, just 100 metres from the cathedral. This is one of the oldest settlements in Spain, and half of the population lives in traditional cave houses. Everything. Even the complimentary’ ‘house’wine was excellent and I had a lovely conversation with the receptionist. I had been roughing it in the mountains so this was a great four star treat and great value.

All of the rooms at the San Antón feature satellite TV, air conditioning and a bathroom with hairdryer. Our room was clean and big enough. The staff was nice and kind. The breakfast was pretty delicious and various.
