It was cleaned daily and we really enjoyed. We didn't try the breakkie, so I cannot comment on that. Would repeat stay and recommend it.

Special mention that the restaurant was kind enough to help me modify their food to cater to my vegetarian/meat-free preference.

It's perfectly located within walking distance from the train station, restaurants, bars and many of the sites we wanted to visit in Kyoto. It's located on a quite and quaint street. The rooms were spacious, clean and the beds were very comfortable. We loved the coffee bar in the lobby. The staff helped us with restaurant recommendations and reservations. I also love that they are an eco-friendly hotel. I will recommend this hotel to all of our friends planning to visit Kyoto.
