In a prime location in Nagoya, Courtyard by Marriott Nagoya provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, private parking and room service. Providing a restaurant, the property also has a fitness centre and a bar. The accommodation features a business centre, a concierge service and luggage storage for guests. Way exceeded my expectations for a Courtyard Marriott, it looked like a JW Marriott. Even the bathroom fixtures were high quality, grohe & hansgrohe. There was a Nespresso machine in the room. A friend who lives in the area said the Toyota execs stay here, which I can believe. Short taxi ride to Nagoya station, which we highly appreciated on the return trip. (We initially took public transportation to the hotel which was a mistake given the paucity of escalators in the local stations.)

Associa Nagoya Marriott Hotel is located within a 10-minute drive from Nagoya Castle. Yamazaki Mazak Museum of Art is an 8-minute train ride away, while Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology is 2 minutes by express train. Nagoya Centair Airport can be reached via a 30-minute express train ride. Location is fantastic. The hotel is next to the central Nagoya train station and bus station and with hotel entrance to the main station concourses and the Shinkansen ticket office and platforms and access to all the main underground lines. Main Nagoya sights are nearly all within walking distance. All the hotel staff are extremely courteous and helpful throughout every part of the hotel. After the hustle and bustle of Nagoya the Hotel is an oasis of calm and beauty We particularly enjoyed Bar Estmare. This was our third stay and we are looking forward to the next visit. There is so much more still to discover in this beautiful hotel.
