Marriott's Mai Khao Resort - Phuket is a 10-minute walk to Mai Khao Beach. The resort provides modern air-conditioned apartments with a luxurious bathroom and a fully functional kitchen. The hotel is unique and near to turtle village which made our stay amazing. We have booked two bedroom and the apartment was big enough to accommodate and there were washing machine and clothes dryer and the activities in the hotel were literally enjoyable and the kids enjoys mini chef sushi and movie under star. They took care of our kids while we relaxed with billiard and cycling. The employees smile and the service is great. The hotel is near turtle village where they’re 7-11 and near Thai Restaurants. We enjoyed and the kids didn’t want to leave even though we were 4 nights but it was not enough. Thank you very much for the best experience.

Our family had an amazing vacation here! From the moment we arrived we were greeted with a refreshing drink and warm smiles. The resort had lots of different restaurants and something for everyone. The rooms were very spacious and decorated beautifully in the traditional Thai style. The pool was a lot of fun for our kids. My 4 and 2 year old loved going down the water slide and my baby also enjoyed the very shallow pool. The resort is a family vacation heaven where there are activities for kids at every corner such as paper crafts and twist balloons. There are also cool shows such as sunset ceremony and fire dancing on certain nights. The most outstanding part of the resort is the exceptional service. I was touched by how attentive and thoughtful the staff were. Servers were always smiling at our young kids, offering to feed my baby food so I could enjoy my meal, and moving the poolside umbrella so my baby wasn’t in the sun. Their warmth and genuine love for children made our trip truly unforgettable. We cannot wait to come back!

The Thai people are the kindest, most accommodating people and the staff go out of their way to smile and greet you and of course help us with last minute requests. I had booked a double room for my mother and my children thinking the kids would share a double bed but the beds are large singles. When we arrived to check in, our front desk person had housekeeping set up a third bed in the room by the time we got there. The pools are comfortable and the grounds are spotlessly maintained. The rooms are modern and housekeeping left us a note when I accidentally left the Do Not Disturb sign on all day to contact them when we would like service. The breakfast is amazing! A lot of options for international cuisines and you can have different foods made to order including eggs/omelettes and noodle soups. Definitely worth every penny and actually was the best food we had in Patong. Try their egg specialty dish. The drinks at the pool bar are alcoholic as opposed to the watered down drinks you get in the tourist restaurants. All in all I would highly recommend for a comfortable stay.
