Discover Phuket Marriott Resort & Spa, Merlin Beach, a serene escape on Tri-Trang Beach, just 3 km from lively Patong Beach, 16 km from Phuket Town and only 40 km from Phuket International Airport. Staff were very friendly. Hotel was very comfortable. Everything was great.

The Thai people are the kindest, most accommodating people and the staff go out of their way to smile and greet you and of course help us with last minute requests. I had booked a double room for my mother and my children thinking the kids would share a double bed but the beds are large singles. When we arrived to check in, our front desk person had housekeeping set up a third bed in the room by the time we got there. The pools are comfortable and the grounds are spotlessly maintained. The rooms are modern and housekeeping left us a note when I accidentally left the Do Not Disturb sign on all day to contact them when we would like service. The breakfast is amazing! A lot of options for international cuisines and you can have different foods made to order including eggs/omelettes and noodle soups. Definitely worth every penny and actually was the best food we had in Patong. Try their egg specialty dish. The drinks at the pool bar are alcoholic as opposed to the watered down drinks you get in the tourist restaurants. All in all I would highly recommend for a comfortable stay.
