We honestly were blown away by all the little touches in the property which helped make our stay so enjoyable. down to the car window wash outside all rooms after driving for hours we badly needed it! the takeaway cups were super handy for our coffee to go at 4am the next morning. the private courtyard at the back of the room was probably the best idea I’ve ever seen for a motel when you have a dog with you it made staying so stress free just to be able to let him out without having to actually leave your room but not worry about him getting away somehow :)

The room was compact and comfortable. There was a kitchen available for guests to use: large fridge,microwave and mini oven with a stock of cutlery/ crockery ,tea towels etc. Tea coffee and sugar was provided. A washing machine was available and was free to use. I didn't have an ensuite room . The separate shared bathroom/toilet was always clean. A little out of the town centre - a 15 minute easy walk I found this accommodation very convenient. It is opposite part of the mine. Katrina the manager is very friendly and helpful. She offers to drive travellers to the Greyhound bus stop and went out of her way to ensure I had a lift to the airport. I very much appreciated that gesture . I used Cityside as a base,staying there on three separate occasions and have no hesitation in recommending it.

Room was exactly like the photos. Really amazing place for my little family and I to stay at for 1 night. Very spacious motel, had all the facilities we needed. Definitely recommend for anyone passing through Mount Isa or staying for a longer duration!!
