Properties with Onsen in Arima

The Japanese style room was spacious and well equipped. The check-in was super easy, and the staff were informative and friendly. The location is in the heart of Arima Onsen. Dressed in your yukata, winter jacket, and clogs (graciously supplied by the hotel), you are a few steps away from the well-known Kin no Yu Onsen and foot bath. The futons were super comfortable, too, giving you a restful nights sleep.

Good location, Reasonable price, Heavenly bed and pillow, I love watching SKY STAGE's TV program.

Amazing facilities, very well maintained despite a century old onsen hotel, awesome Onsen,what surprised me the most unlimited dinner buffet with mouth-watering Kobe beef!!! The most delicious Kobe beef I ever had, taste heavenly, I am willing to go back just for the Kobe beef alone! I am not able to find any beef that can match this kinda quality later on in my Japan trip, you must try this at least once in your lifetime!

Comfortable and clean, staff were very accommodating. The Taiko no yu was very relaxing.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. One person spoke very good English. There were free drinks (hot & cold) at the lobby area. They have 4 private onsens to book for 45 mins in addition to the shared onsens. We tired the outdoor private onsen but preferred the shared onsen which also had an outdoor onsen. They have 2 types of onsen water and the hotel is located very close to one of the onsen sources, so have excellent hot water. The room was spacious and comfortable. We would highly recommend this hotel and would love to return. The hotel was also close to a big public Onsen facility which we also tried.

Food was great, as was service at meals!

Highly recommended! We reserved for 1 nite including 1dinner and 1 breakfast. The room is big with mountain view. Food is great in Japanese style. Public onsen with 1 outdoor and 1 indoor. Staff is also friendly. Delightful stay!

Wow! One of the best accommodation experiences we have ever had the pleasure to enjoy. From the moment of arrival to the time of departure; everything was perfect. Amazing ryokan, wonderful onsens, and some of the best traditional food we have had in three weeks touring Japan (dinner & breakfast included), all this in addition to extremely attentive & caring staff. Very traditional & steeped in history, we felt like royalty - even down to supplying perfectly fitting yukata & PJ's.

Good communication before booking and organised a bus shuttle to pick us up. We travelled in a group of 5 and one member of our family has a tattoo but they helped us organise a reserved area to enjoy the hot springs and it was very easy to organise. The Ryokan is on the smaller side however it makes the establishment feel more homey and more comfortable with lots of little wooden birds in cages and doll houses around to decorate the lobby. A great view of the arima mountains and a comfortable traditional tatami room was amazing. Also had a regular hotel room which was spacious and cosy. You can also experience Japanese television or link up YouTube to the flat screen tv. The onsen and kaiseki dinner is in their sister ryokan Hanamutsubi (1 minute away) so you also get to experience the fancy hotel dinner and two different spring waters onsen. the 7 course meal uses different ingredients from all of the prefecture including Kobe beef and every meal was amazing, something new or something traditional everything was exceptional. I also had an accident in the Ryokan where I had a smaller epileptic attack however the staff were quick to inform my other family members and make sure I was okay. They also called me an ambulance just in case and wheeled me in a wheelchair back from Hanamutsubi to Kotori Ryokan. All the staff will also welcome and say good bye to you when you leave and enter and are very polite and truly make you feel special.

The Onsen was amazing, quite relaxing with variations. It is our first time but we really enjoyed the place.

The service was perfect, dinner 100% recommend, a must have. Awesome experience!

From the location, the welcoming, professional staff to the high end finishes across the property, the attention to detail, the in-room onsen and public onsen experience which can be privatised and the quality of the food, room, beds, the grounds and close proximity to the shops in town. Basically everything.

Everything from the accommodation to the food preparation and the service staff was perfect.☺️👍☺️ The hot spring bath can be locked for private use.♨️

Perfect hospitality, provides shuttle service to almost any main spots in the town. Foods were amazing too.
