The hotel was very well located, and the staff were exceptionally nice and kind. The room was clean and equipped with all the amenities you might need, offered free of charge. The complimentary shuttle bus from Kawaguchiko train station is definitely a plus. Unfortunately, we couldn’t see Mount Fuji because of the weather, but this hotel is definitely a must!

Right on the shore of the scenic Kawaguchiko Lake, Hotel New Century boasts spacious Japanese-style rooms overlooking the lake and Mount Fuji. View of the Fuji is incredible! Breakfast and dinner was really good! Everything was super clean and comfortable. Location is convenient and you can use their shuttle bus to go to the station.

Awesome stay in a traditional-style Japanese hotel. The rooms provided a really authentic feel and had great views both of Mt Fuji and of the lake. The breakfast was nice with a great variety of dishes available. But wow, the highlight was the dinner. We were served in a private room for groups, and our server (M) was incredible - very friendly and patient and always went out of her way to help us and explain things, even if there was occasionally some gap in language.

The staff was just great, the kindness and the way they tried to accomodate any request made them the most warm and kind staff we have ever met in our three weeks trip in Japan! My wife is vegan so she could not eat the same meal with me but they were happy to offer her what they could at the table (beverages) while I was eating. The room is a bit outdated but to be honest is not a big problem. The meals were just fantastic, little to add here. High quality good, great amount, every dish was explained at its best. I would defined recommend a stay here!

The whole onsen experience was amazing. From the reception to being introduced to the room. We had yukata's (traditional home garments). Our private onsen was great. The room was beautiful, The futon bed super comfy. The food was OMG.... literally Michelin star (and I've bee at Michelin star restaurants). Staff was extremely helpful and assisted us booking travel to any place around. The location was great to just take a stroll and discover the Kawaguchi lake.
