We had a great time staying for one night at Debatoun, where we met the owners (Svetlana and her husband) who have created an incredibly lovely space! The room is spacious, bed is super comfortable, and everything was super clean. We arrived when it was snow outside, still inside the room it was very warm and cozy, and the aunties were very cute and prepared very tasty food. I cannot say enough, just don’t hesitate to stay here!

Lovely hosts and competent kitchen team. Nice accommodation with great views on the valley and mountains, several seating areas (in- and outside) and a beautiful garden with swimming pool. Tasty dinner available, nearly everything is locally produced. The family is very helpful to help discover Armenia. Respect for the hosts’ philosophy behind building their entire project! A must-visit guesthouse when in the region!

Unser Zelt befand sich direkt an einem Wasserfall, umgeben von Baumkronen, was zusammen mit dem Vogelgesang für eine entspannende Atmosphäre sorgte. Das Personal ist super freundlich und zuvorkommend, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Die Zelte selbst sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Alles in allem eine klare Weiterempfehlung. Wir kommen gerne zurück.

We were really welcomed like family, views are spectacular and food was local and delicious (had wild asparagus with home made butter one night)! Last night we had a bonfire with the manager, his wife and daughter and another guest family. This kind of hospitality is rare and special!

If you would like to experience solitude, warm hospitality of people, beautiful nature and the river and the charm of a village, then this Airbnb is the one. Lauretta is a wonderful host and treats you like a family member. Do not worry about English, you will be able to manage just fine. Lauretta’s daughter is available through chat or on the phone if you would need help. If you can manage to share with the locals and be friendly, you might be in for a treat, as for me, the local kids decided to show me around their village and we even had a mini picnic at the river. Lauretta prepares very tasty food and the portions are very generous. She makes them from locally grown vegetables and it is as organic as it can get. The whole stay and experience is more than worth the money and I hope Lauretta continues to run this guesthouse so that more people can visit and I can come back the next time too.

Loved the full experience. The place was magical for a calm day or two. The decorations and attention to details. The views just magnificent. The room was équiped with everything we might need. Breakfast was good as well. Finally and most importantly, I can't thank the stuff enough, the whole family loved how friendly and helpful they are and that's everyone without any exceptions! They all went above and beyond whether from finding places and gems around the region, to explaining the food etc.

Easy 10/10. From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by the exquisite interior and how spotless everything was—the level of cleanliness and hygiene here is truly top-tier. The house itself is super spacious, and the location couldn't be more convenient. The drive to the place is so so amazing. Our favorite part, though, was the huge open yard filled with fruit-laden trees. The kids really enjoyed it. They even have a stash of toys waiting for them in the house, it was such a thoughtful touch that made us feel right at home immediately. The kitchen is fully loaded. Owner was also an incredible host—always available and happy to help whenever we had a question. We couldn't have asked for a better stay and will definitely be back!
