Winklern is a good location to discover the area (Mölltal Gletscher, Heiligenblut+alpenstrasse, raggaschlucht) we were with a family and the kids insisted we visit Mautturm with it cristalles 3 time. Overall an amazing base for an amazing vacation. They also loved the garden. Clean apartment. Kitchen and dining area well equipped, overall spacious.

Great winter escape. Extremely spacious design and nothing left to be desired. Roomy spa and great pool space. Food also continuously good throughout our week stay. Gluten free choices available which we needed. Cross country skiing right outside the door.

This place is excellent, the staff were so friendly & welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. It was very clean & comfortable. Food was excellent. It sits at the foot of The Grossglockner Pass, so perfect if you're heading over or just come over. Plenty of bikers stopped there & were made welcome. Plenty of parking out front.

Mr. Kerschbaumer was waiting for us when we were arriving, even we were more than 1 hour late. He showed us the apartment, nice surprise is bottle of wine and sweets for Kids. Apartment is big, clean, you have everything you need. Parking in garage in winter is great as well. I definitely recommend this apartment and I hope we will have chance to come again. In term of surroundings - you have few skiing resorts (Moelltal, Heiligenblut...) 25 km away - you can decide where to go, based on weather. And for biking - there is nice bike route going through the whole valley of Moell river)
