Comfortable and surprisingly spacious old-school cabin (2B) that had been thoughtfully updated and had all the key facilities one could want, plus a gorgeous view of the water from the enclosed front dining area (the round table view in the site's photos). Friendly staff. Very relaxing outlook overall, one of our group described it as like being beside a peaceful Scottish loch. Great location for short walks on the Bibbulmun Track, and not far from Walpole.

We were pleasantly surprised at how much thought and attention to detail had been given to stocking the accommodation with holiday essentials. We were greeted with a fridge full of fresh eggs, butter,milk and a range of bread mixes to use in the bread maker supplied. There was internet wifi, a smart TV, family board games etc. Even farm animals to pet! We felt welcomed and extremely comfortable.

The apartment consists of 1 bedroom, a fully equipped kitchenette, and 1 bathroom. Free private parking is available at Peacehaven Shack on the Irwin Inlet. The accommodation is non-smoking.

Imo the beauty and serenity of the location is unmatched. We loved playing tennis, bushwalking through the property, canoeing along the lovely Frankland River practically at our doorstep, also having an outdoor wood fire and BBQ. Very comfy beds and well equipped kitchen plus an indoor wood fire to keep us warm at night. Also Prue the manager is a fabulous and very generous host! Fyi as a family of 4 living in Albany we were 2-3 times a year regulars at the Chalets for 17 years up until 5 years ago when our son and then later our daughter moved to Perth to study, so this was our first reunion visit to what we all call our 'second home"!!!
