Very nice communication and very nice welcoming moments from the owner. The place is an absolute jem in a remote and quiet place. I really liked the private bathrooms in each room and the fire place in the living room.

The place and the wonderfully friendly hostess exceeded all my expectations! I enjoyed my stay a lot and appreciated care and understanding of my hostess, who picked me from the Station Marbehan and even permitted me to use the kitchen for my modest vegan dinners. The property was very clean and quiet. The beds were comfortable and the facilities were perfect. my elderly father appreciated there were no stairs to the bedroom, only two stairs into the home. located only 17 minutes drive to Bastogne, convenient to us. Breakfast was great! fresh bread, jams, cheeses and spreads and Agnes had hard boiled eggs one day and cooked us eggs the second day. Perfect.

Beautifully rennovated manor house and stables. The room I had was in the white stable building and immaculately rennovated, one of the very best rooms I have ever stayed in. The manager was very attentive and helpful, breakfast was wonderful, they even have welcome free drinks (I had an exellent local beer) a very enjoyable stay. I will come back again for sure.

Wonderful house, all rooms are spacious, beautiful and super clean! The kitchen is very well equipped, the billiard room with foosball table is great and there is a nice terrace with a huge garden leading up to the river. Great, relaxing location.

Le Scailleteux is a beautifully renovated property, with very creative use of some of the old and attractive features. Caroline gave us a very warm welcome, and recommended many of the local attractions. The property is very comfortable and well equipped, and we appreciated the underfloor heating in the main kitchen and dining area. We enjoyed the old game of riboulette! We thoroughly recommend a visit to the Bastogne War Museum, one of the most interesting and creative museums we have ever visited.
