We really enjoyed our stay here. We were looking for a place with an authentic Caribbean feel that reflected the local style of architecture, and this house was exactly that. The home is entirely built of wood and has a rustic, open design that keeps it fresh and airy during the day. Because of the open-concept layout, we felt very connected to the surrounding nature, which was one of our favorite parts of the experience. From the house, we were able to spot monkeys, toucans, and even a sloth, making our stay feel even more special. Both the downstairs and upstairs bedrooms have traditional wooden shutters that can be closed at night, making the rooms feel comfortable and secure while preserving the character of the house. The kitchen is well equipped for preparing meals, and there are several good restaurants within walking distance, as well as a couple of large supermarkets where you can easily find everything you need. The beach is only about a 150 meter walk away making it very easy to enjoy the ocean whenever you like, and although the house is conveniently close to the main road, it always felt peaceful and quiet. Overall, if you're looking for a simple, authentic Caribbean style home in a great location with plenty of nature around you, this is a lovely place to stay. We were very happy with our choice and would gladly come back.
