Probably the best choice of a hotel in La Fortuna town - spotlessly clean room, incredibly friendly staff, amazing garden and of course, the volcano view. 5 min walk to all restaurants, sodas ans shops in La Fortuna. There is a resident 🦥 and we had numerous sitings of iguanas and birds.

We stayed in a "Deluxe King Room" which is one of the newer cabins. It was clean and smart, with a lovely covered terrace. These cabins are a sufficient distance from the main road thus avoiding traffic noise. It was also a benefit to be able to park our rental car right outside the cabin. The gardens were beautiful, attracting loads of birds (especially Hummingbirds) which we could watch from our terrace. There were several restaurants within walking distance and it was only a short drive to the Volcan Arenal National Park

The room was clean and spacious. It has balcony to see the volcano. The lodge has hiking trails. I enjoyed two day solo walk. Well maintained and easy to walk, except river trail. I met only few people on the trail and i was able to enjoy the solitude. I appreciate Greivin at reception helping me to arrange transportation to Mistico to La Fortuna town.

Beautiful well-maintained territory, clean rooms with comfortable bed. Tasty and varied breakfasts. Responsive staff. Very much liked the horseback ride to Arenal volcano through the forest, crossing rivers and swamps. Would not have gotten there on our own. Be sure to wear closed shoes and pants. Also liked the deep tissue massage. The girls are professionals, with knowledge of their business. Thermal springs as an additional bonus after an active day

Great location in the middle of the town, off street free parking, surrounded by cafes and restaurants. Staff were friendly, able to book activities at the desk. Room was spacious and clean with AC- looks the same as the photos. Nice communal area with hammocks in the shade. The rooms upstairs had a morning view of the volcano! :)

Fantastic location and very quiet. Walkable to restaurants and shops, and tours pick up from reception or there is plenty of off street parking. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and clean. Great breakfast in a nice area around the pool with view of volcano. Really pleasant vibe and feels like you're not in the centre of the town. Use of Volcano lodge hot pools was an added bonus.

The view from the room was stunning, Arenal volcano framed by the jungle around it. Room was its own little house on the hill, felt very private. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Mistico hanging bridges are right across the parking lot from the hotel, very convenient.
