The place was a very welcoming, warm and cozy change as we were on a bike tour along the Saale and were mostly camping. It was spacious and a perfect location for us. We mostly liked sitting in the sun on the back patio.

The hotel has a wonderful open and warm atmosphere. It felt alive and welcoming although we were the only guests. Fabulous service - the hotel staff were unable to contact us during our journey so the cook stayed until we arrived to see if we wanted supper. The castle has a fascinating history and is an inspiring cultural project. It was a shame we were travelling though and could only stay one night.

The location is charming, situated in a picturesque town with a rich history. A free municipal parking lot with an EV charger is conveniently located about 100 meters from the apartment. This is a fantastic spot for relaxation, as well as for a short or long stay related to business travel.
