It was stunning. Accommodation was comfortable, spacious, modern and tastefully decorated keeping in the Bavarian tradition. Breakfast was amazing and generous, restaurant was lovely and views from terrace were spectacular. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We were also upgraded to a bigger room. We just loved this hotel.

The place was spotless and well equipped, the staff were very friendly helpful and accommodating. The cafe attached was lovely with a great outdoor area to relax over a drink and within a 1 min walk you were on the main street of Oberammergau and less than 5 mins from the train station.

The apartment is really enjoyable, with a wonderful view of the nature. The Host is absolutely kind and helpful, permitting also us a late check out. The kitchen is well equipped in supplies and condiments. Splendid city and stay! Thanks

In the middle of the most beautiful area, close to incredible towns, beautiful lakes and the beautiful Linderhof castle. My room was really comfortable and the hotel really authentic. I tried the restaurant aswell and the food was so so good! The area is quiet, the view is beautiful and the staff is adorable! I keep the address for the future, that’s for sure !

Very nice place to stay in a quiet and peaceful location, but still only a 10-minute walk from the town center and bus station. The room was beautifully furnished, and the large balcony had amazing views.

Great location - close to everything but less busy (and just aittle further away from the 24/7 churchbell than being downtown). Great patio. Good kitchen. And it comes with a tour card with free public transit and so on

Perfect location for any season. We were there in the winter and couldn't have asked for a more beautiful view. The apartment is warm and welcoming and offers everything you might need for a self-catering apartment.

The location of the house is wonderful - we arrived in the evening by train from Munich airport and it was just a 8 minute walk to the house from the train station. There are food shops near the station too. We were greeted by the friendly house keeper and given a tour of the house and access to internet and the front door. The house is very well equipped, very clean and orderly. It is spacious with all the facilities we needed including a large sauna and facilities to wash ski clothing. In the morning we awoke to the open views from the house - looking out across snow fields to the hills, woodlands and countryside. We were able to hire skies in the town and skied to Ettal, Graswang (cafe Gröbl-Alm is very welcoming just 5 minutes off the langlaufen route), Unterammergau and Linderhof and took the iconic Laber-Bergbahn up the mountain where we had lunch in the sunshine looking out at fantastic alpine scenery. Much of the scenery around here is stunningly beautiful around Schloss Linderhof and Ettal monastry. Thanks to the Alpen Gästekarte we travelled around the area free of charge and visited Garmish Partenkirchen and Mittenwald using the very frequent bus services. At the back of the house was a snow covered field and a short walk up to the family run Evi’s pizzaria. This is enchanting and the pizzas and atmosphere excellent. There are also numerous restaurants nearby in Oberammergau itself and friendly Konditori Cafe Hochenleitner does splendid koffee and kuchen. Other occasions we cooked our own food in the very well equipped kitchen. We stayed 11 nights in total and enjoyed every moment of it.
