The hôtel has a typical bavarian look and the people are very welcoming. Very nice location, at walking distance from the lake and not far from Starnberg and Tutzing (accessible by car (10min) or S-bahn which is 5min from the hôtel). Proximity with the S-bahn also allows a day-trip to Munich (c. 40min by train). The breakfast is hearty with bavarian and german staples. The restaurant in the evening serves really amazing food with bavarian classics that were absolutely wonderful (best Kartoffelsalat i ever had).

We are so happy to have found this little gem. We stayed here for one night whilst travelling and it met all our expectations. We had super spacious room with a little kitchenette. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel also runs a restaurant where we managed to have dinner. Great atmosphere with delicious food. Breakfast had a lovely variety of food. We would definitely stay here again

Interesting interior. Loved the view from the apartment. So many useful stuff in the apartment. Large garden with playground for kids. Our 20-month-old boy loved it. Very good breakfast, with many choices. I felt owners really wanted us to feel welcome.

The building ambientes, inside and outside with the massive wood structure is what I'm dreamed of. Interior with nice details. Good S-Bahn connection (5min). Easy to explore Stanberger See

Very clean and beautiful apartment, nice location.

Recommend for everyone looking for both silent and relaxing place with lake and huge park nearby, as well for those traveling to Munich where you can get easily with S-Bahn. Large and equipped kitchen allowed us to cook something up quickly and then enjoy it on a balcony!

Big flat with two rooms and kitchen and balcony, free parking in garage. Near to lake and chateau and railway line to Munich. Good for dogs - no extra charge.

Everything was excellent! The apartment was spacious, very well furnished, and spotlessly clean. The beautiful green surroundings, mountain views, and close proximity to the lake, restaurants, and the train station make this place truly special. It’s an ideal spot for relaxation and a perfect reset. We would be happy to come back!

We got an email a day before arrival. In the email, all details and the code for the lock box was given. With this, the access was very easy. The location is brilliant, only a few minutes to the lake. The lock box was accessible all week for us, so there was no need to carry the keys with us all the time.

Coming from NZ this is exactly how we imagined a small village guesthouse might be. It was wonderful and we loved the surroundings and the rooms. Very modern bathrooms and spotlessly clean. The attached restaurant was great and we enjoyed sitting outside drinking beer and wine. Perfect!
