Hotels with Parking in Simonswald

Staff, room, surrounding area, the little chapel, the quietness...everything was perfect

Beautifully decorated and big rooms. Rather quiet environment; I didn’t hear much at all from the neighbours (except when they were on their balcony and I had my windows open). Exceptionally friendly staff. Location a bit outside the village centre suited me well with my dog. Nice walk just in front along the river. Would stay there again without hesitation

New and modern design hotel, self check-in went smoothly, help desk was available for questions. Maximum comfort level!

Family run hotel and restaurant with a lovely atmosphere. Mix of locals, cyclists, bikers and our family! Varied breakfast and delicious food. All simple and perfect.

Delicious breakfast, very sweet/helpful staff, great location, great sauna.

Really great welcome, and fantastic food and beer garden

Nice location, cleanliness, newly renovated

Very friendly and welcoming owner. Fantastic breakfast

This is our second stay with Tatjana and Ludwig, this time with kids. Gruner Baum is the perfect spot in the the Black Forest and everything about it, from the clean and comfortable rooms, the view of the forest and the delicious breakfast, are unmatched. Tatjana and Ludwig are gracious, entertaining and funny. They were always available to help with anything we needed. Highly recommended for couples or families. Tatjana, next time will be sooner than 11 years!

Very kind and friedly owner; breakfasts prepared with love, home made products made our days in the beautiful landscape more impressive. We stayed even longer than we planed:)

The guesthouse was cosy and welcoming, everything you want from this type of stay. The family were friendly, incredibly accommodating and helpful for local advice. The location of the property is stunning, the view from the restaurant at dinner blew us away.

It is a very nice place to stay. Very clean and silence. Highly recommended.

My second time staying here, it is a superb spot. Brilliantly organised before, during and after the stay. I actually checked in and out without seeing anyone, which was what I expected and no problem. Lots of information was provided beforehand and people were available if needed, but I also felt very left alone in a good way. The location is superb, beautiful to sit on the balcony in the evening and enjoy the scenery. Lots of great hiking nearby, and the guest card makes it easy to head into Freiburg on the train. All in all a brilliant place to stay.

We stayed at the Gasthaus Krone-Post in Simonswald with our family (two adults and two children) and felt very comfortable throughout our stay. The location is excellent, everything was clean and nicely furnished. Breakfast was very good, and having both a car park and a playground nearby was perfect for families. The guesthouse, located about 500 metres from the main building, was very peaceful, offered a wonderful view, and was also spotless. We truly enjoyed our time there.

The location is beautiful, with views of the black forest all around, including cows on a local hillside. My dog loved frolicking around the garden and fields nearby. We were 3 adults and 1 medium-sized dog, the size of the apartment was great for us. Plenty of parking spaces outside and two bakeries, plus a handful of guesthouse restaurants nearby too. The owners kindly set out a dog bowl upon our arrival which was a lovely touch. We'd be very happy to stay here again!
