Appartement-Hotel-Anlage Tannenpark
It had an olds school charm. The staff was amazingly accommodating especially at the reception otherwise they were not in your face and I felt very comfortable there.
Haus am Waldesrand
The location of the accommodation was amazing, it was in a really quiet street, surrounded by trees. The property itself was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed for our stay, which we thoroughly enjoyed and unfortunately we could not have stayed longer. Our host was very helpful and kind. We will definitely return. Car parking was available outside the property.

We were very late because a sudden problem with our car on the way. We call then and ask if it would be ok arrive late , couple of hours after the official time. They were very understanding and cooperative... something I can not say it is common in Germany when looking for guest houses. The place has everything you could need , from bread Toaster, to coffe machine, even supplied sugar, salt, some tees, coffee, etc. fridge, cutlery, etc. iron....you get the picture. The place was big for two adults and a kid, could easily fit one adult more. They have also plenty of books for kids, table games, a baby bad, toys for children, etc. the heating works wonderfully and the water pressure in the shower and in general was perfect. Parking was big, at least for 5 cars at the front ( inside the property) and behind for maybe 4-5 cars more.

What a great place. A self contained little house in the back garden, quiet, comfortable and well equipped. I would not hesitate to recommend the Finnhütte and hope to stay there another time.
Very welcoming host. Lovely quiet garden area with beautiful goldfish pond for my 86 year old mom to relax around and for me to enjoy a BBQ. Surrounded by farm and woodland, Great for walking the dogs. Great location to go and see tourist places by car, such as the steam railway and the GDR automobile museum, where you can get to drive a tank. Highly recommended. Just what they doctor ordered!

Hotel Silbertanne
Great place with wonderful owners. The room was very fresh and spotless. Breakfast and dinner were both really good. I do enjoy that you need to order beforehand. The portions are very generous. You sort of forget it's a hotel, but you get the feeling you've come to someone's home. I really enjoyed my stay and would come back!
