It was close to where I needed to be to be with my Dad at his nursing home. I have stayed at a few Airbnbs on the island and this one was perfect as I was on my own, very safe and comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay in this cozy apartment by the sea. Everything was spotlessly clean, tidy, and very comfortable, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The location is absolutely wonderful. From the windows, you can enjoy beautiful views of the sea, horses grazing nearby, and the garden. The house itself is a charming and authentic Danish home with a traditional thatched roof, cozy rooms, and a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere. Everything was so quiet and relaxing. Spending an evening on the beach watching the sunset was the true Danish hygge experience — peaceful, cozy, and simply magical. We truly enjoyed our stay and would be happy to come back!

We stayed in the barril. We enjoyed it a lot. Specially our 3 year old! Showers, toilettes were very clean. There were even toilettes for the little ones! Beach was incredibly clear and sunset spectacular! My only regret was that we stayed only for one night since we were on a road trip and heading to Odense. But I promised my little one to make it back sometime soon I hope! For sure I will try to go back!

Location was good, there was a great little pub down the road and some shops around for supplies too. We walked to and from the town and is not too far. Terrific experience overall we all agreed that Svendborg was a great place to visit.
