Breakfast was awesome! The table was nicely set for breakfast with several types of cheese and sausage, boiled eggs, joghurt with muesli, and freshly baked bread! Pension is located in a small village, 5-6 km away from E45. Lovely country house, nicely decorated. 2 rooms are located on the first floor, 2 bathroom (separate for every room) and kitchen are on the basement. We were with friends and enjoyed staying in the whole house. Owner lives in the house just opposite. Grocery store, cafe/restaurants are 2-3 km away but we had some food and bought a bottle of wine by owner and enjoyed our dinner in the garden.

Very large apartment, super clean, huge windows with beautiful view. Cozy design, modern furnishing and kitchen equipped with everything needed. Exceptional breakfasts with several egg dishes (ask the chef), smoothies, yogurts, cookies, etc. Nice thing they offer access to sauna and gym. Easy to get to city center, just take the tram and in 15-20 minutes you're there.

This is a wonderful place to stay that we can recommend without a single doubt. Solveig and Frederik did everything to make us feel like we were in a fairy tale. We arrived very late, but the hosts left the doors unlocked for us and had already lit the fireplace. The welcome drinks and sweets were a very pleasant surprise. The house itself is simply lovely: clean bed linen and towels, a fully equipped kitchen, lots of character, cozy, warm, and spotlessly clean. The hosts are incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming. Our cat accidentally knocked over a picture, and we were very worried about the broken glass in the frame, but the hosts reassured us and didn’t ask us to pay for anything — it was very kind and completely unexpected. In the morning we ordered breakfast, and everything was delicious: juice from the hosts’ garden, warm buns, yogurt, fruit, muesli, cheese, cold cuts, jam, and butter. Very tasty and filling. There was a basket of firewood by the door, so we could enjoy the fireplace every evening. The cherry on top was when the hostess allowed us to check out at a time that was convenient for us. Parking was right next to the house, which made loading and unloading our suitcases very easy. We highly recommend choosing this accommodation if you plan to visit Den Gamle By — a very atmospheric old village full of history, extremely interesting and definitely a must-see. Nearby there is also the Botanical Garden (Botanisk Have) with a large parking area; it’s free and very interesting as well. Thank you so much to the hosts for a wonderful stay!
