Great small complex in a rural setting. The owner was lovely and very helpful. Never been to this area of Spain before but now a complete convert. Did river Cruse to see the vineyards, quad biking - best outing of the holiday (company just outside Sober lovely people), horse riding and the usual look at a castle! Major regional town 15 mins away for tapas and supermarkets. Air con in apartment was great and it coped well with the heat. Think the complex is only a couple of years old and everything is clean and works well - great base camp to explore from. And as it’s on a hill you get the cooling breeze especially up by the pool.

Lovely hosts, Susana and Mario, and warm welcome by Lupe who speaks english. Bucolic location in plain nature. Very clean and big apartment with all amenities you need. It takes a 200 m walk to the private swimming pool. Private parking. We hope to come back.

Beautiful recently tastefully refurbished old Quinta

Nuestra estancia este fin de semana ha sido fantástica. En primer lugar destacar a Patri, que fue muy atenta, amable y servicial en todo momento, haciendo que nuestra estancia fuera cómoda y muy agradable. Desde el primer momento tuvimos un detalle de bienvenida con una botella de vino de cortesía, algo que nos ha gustado mucho. El apartamento estaba muy limpio y cuidado, y pudimos disfrutar de la zona de barbacoa dentro del recinto. Además, las vistas por la mañana son preciosas y el jacuzzi dentro de la habitación fue, sin duda, uno de los puntos fuertes de la estancia. Una experiencia muy agradable y relajante. En definitiva, un sitio totalmente recomendable para desconectar y disfrutar de unos días tranquilos. ¡Sin duda repetiríamos!

Great location and very welcoming host

Well equipped, clean and comfortable. Shops and bars/restaurants are an easy walk from the apartment. Beautiful views and very friendly people. An excellent and warm reception from the manager on our arrival. Lovely tubs of geraniums on our balcony. Will be back!

I had a wonderful stay at Casa do sequeiro. The apartment was well equipped, very tidy and clean and the bed was so comfortable. It's a very quiet area so I had the best sleep! Eugenio was very helpful and communicative. The only thing missing that would have been nice to have was salt, pepper and a bit of cooking oil, but this is very minor. I would stay here again and highly recommend.

We had a fantastic stay! The house itself is stunning and there is love in every detail of decoration. So much that I'm taking a lot of inspiration for myself from this place. All the staff is warm-hearted, superfriendly and very considerate. For example, of which I could name many more: We said that we do not like sweet food in the morning too much and were surprised with a rich, salty breakfast the next day. (And as I've read some other comments: No, the breakfast is not overpriced - nor is anything else!) And then comes the food, which shouldn't be last-named but there is no way to rank food, staff and house as it is all excellent. So: The food was a treat we were looking forward to each day. Outstanding, haute cuisine-like, for a very fair price. We spent 18 days in Northern Spain and never before or after were we served such delicious food. All in all, I recommend Rectoral Anllo for 100÷.Thank you, Nacho and your team, for your great hospitality! We are hoping to come back!

The village is tiny and quiet. You can hike to several lookout points and trailheads directly from the house which was amazing. The house was impeccably clean and the host sent us lots of recommendations for the area and even left a delicious cake for us. A wonderful experience if you're looking for a very peaceful and nature-oriented vacation!

Great area and Jose our host was very kind and helpful in recommending routes and visits we should make. Lovely accommodation - full of character and sensitively renovated. We wished we were staying more than one night!
