The bottle of champagne given by the owner was very nice, with a hint of honey. There is no lift, but it doesn't matter. Leave your luggage in the car and take what you need in your backpack or handbag.

Super quiet and nice cool constant temp, bed super comfy definitely used spa on balcony after walking in the heat all day . Also local village is great and the castle is worth visiting. Hosts are lovely. Separate parking for units, well sign posted from main road .

Parking for motorbikes outside Reception and under the CCTV camera so secure. Good size room with balcony view towards Valderobres. Plenty of storage in room. Shampoo and shower gel provided. Bathroom large. AC was good enough. Dinner (included in our package) is 18 euros per person if not included and a good deal. The food was tasty and the flan with Baileys was absolutely divine. The young male staff member in the restaurant was very friendly and helpful and he was kept very busy but remained polite and chatty at all times. Breakfast was the usual array of cold foods including a good selection of fruit. Although the room overlooked the car park and road, we weren't disturbed by road noise.

The hotel is in an excellent position, right next to the cathedral and castle. Free parking is nearby but do not follow the directions given by google maps. The rooms were very comfortable and clean and breakfast was great with plenty of options for a continental breakfast.
