This place is highly recommended. We stayed at Churrut for 3 nights. The hotel has a very pleasant atmosphere, with a somewhat dated but very characteristic interior. The breakfast and the diners were of an excellent quality. The hotel staff proved very helpful in getting us the best room available. During our last night in the hotel we experienced a false fire alarm. To compensate us for this the hotel gave us a considerable reduction on the agreed tariff and costs for meals. The hotel staff is to be complemented for this!

Wonderful place and most attentive and kind hosts. The apartment is spacious, very modern and with plenty of appliances to make your stay comfortable. We enjoyed the nature, the historic towns around and would love to come back anytime.

Very clean apartment in a very quiet place. Host provided very clear instructions how to find his apartment and check in. Cake that was left for us was a pleasant surprise.

Fabulous scenic location between Irun and Pamplona. Warm comfortable room. Great shower. Wheelchair friendly. Very helpful staff. The Cafe bar is open all day and evening so we were able to get food and drink on arrival. Parking. A beautiful historic building.

An interesting, old-style inn and hotel. The hostesses were very pleasant; they responded quickly to our call, showed us around, and handled the check-in formalities. The location is very interesting.

The accommodation was perfect for our needs, clean and tidy. Breakfast is fresh and varied each morning. The proprietors you can only love. Their kindness and their welcome is open and friendly. Nothing can be said against the location. Isolated, literally on the border of France and Spain, the property is in France, the car park is in Spain. The views change dramatically with the weather and time of day. The first time you drive up to the Col, it feels a long way from civilisation (comparatively). Each time you drive up and down afterwards, you know that life isn't too far away, just a 20 minute drive. Watch out for cyclists coming around a bend!!! Birds of all sizes, local horses, sheep with mountain bells, wild mint growing everywhere. Dark forest and grassy/rocky mountains. A lower part of the Pyrenees, so life goes all the way to the top.

The hosts could not have been more helpful. I am walking the GR10 and arrived a day late!! I wasnt charged any extra. The room was superb. The breakfast excellent. I left my phone charger and the host drove it to me!! Over and above waht is expected, If I could give the hotel any more stars I would!!!
