The hotel 'manager' was a really friendly guy who went out of his way to help us and advise. The location is remote in a wonderful way with stunning wildlife and beautiful views. Really relaxed and quiet away from it all. No towns close I think the nearest one is about 16k away but that suited us fine. There's a little shop in the quaint little place. If you're looking for hustle and bustle its not for you if you want the feel of a remote Spanish hamlet it certainly is. We loved it.

Super Posada close to the Parque Nacional Cañon del Rio Lobos. We had a very comfortable large room and enjoyed a spell in the spa after a walk in the Parque. Enjoyed drinks outside before dinner and had a very nice meal in the restaurant on the second night (first night the restaurant was shut but we were able to eat close by)
