All staff I came to contact with were extremely friendly. We were blessed to have the place to ourselves so we made use of all the facilities without any hesitation. Poolside and outdoor sports facilities, children playground were perfect for my children during daytime. In evening we made the most of the indoor play room which is equipped with loads of games and toys and books. After putting children to sleep I even ventured in the gym. Perfect little stay, felt bit too short for me, would definitely return and stay longer. Location wise I would say a car is necessary but since I had one then villages and shops are easily accessible.

A truly hidden gem in the Rias Baixas! We loved every second we spent at the Villa Lores and only wish we could have stayed longer, as three nights felt really shorts in this magical place. Natalie and Victor really made this place into a Galician masterpiece, it’s a true boutique hotel with wonderful service in one of our favourite areas in the world. Their attention to detail is second to none, and although only recently opened, the Villa feels so cozy and homey. We particularly loved the extremely comfortable bed — best sleep we’ve had in months — and the sea water swimming pool, free of chlorine and with perfect temperature water. The villa is also is such a great location to visit this part of Spain — some amazing wineries and wonderful beaches just 10-15 minute drive away, so there is really no reason not to book this place in a second. We will certainly be returning, and are so grateful for the wonderful treatment and hospitality from the whole team.

My stay was absolutely wonderful. I was able to rest, repair, recharge and reset to continue walking the Camino de Santiago.

Perfect place in a perfect location. Located in central Combarro just meters away from the main attractions and restaurants. The village goes quiet and calm after 10 or 11pm.

The location. Beautiful view over the valley. Close to the Monastry in A Armenteira and the host will pick you up from there if you are walking the Camino! The breakfast was delicious as well as the coffee!

I travelled with my dad doing the Camino end of September. This Albergue was absolutely perfect after the difficult hike from Pontevedra to Armenteira! We arrived to the hostel greeted by the very kind and hardworking owner. This man went above and beyond to all pilgrims staying in the albergue. He makes sure you are fed (offering to order take away from the local restaurant if needed), explaining about the pilgrim blessing (beautiful opportunity with singing nuns!) and checking in with care. You get a quick tour of the albergue where the rules are explained (boots outside, laundry in laundry room only etc). The facilities were the best in ANY albergue we stayed in (we walked for 12 days!) Included is towels, sheets, a blanket and many plug facilities. There is a curtain for privacy which was great (although the rooms are mainly gendered I found). The Kitchen and common areas are very clean. Lovely balcony to chill on! There is not much to do in this village but the owner showed us where we should go for breakfast (~8km start of our camino) I would return for the owner alone.

Maria, the host, was one of the kindest people we’ve ever come across. She helped us settle comfortably, get to know the area, and gave us local recommendations of places to visit. The property is a combination of a family run winery which offers a very informative wine tasting and winery visit. The room was clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend the property and the wine tasting 😀

Very comfortabel room with everything you need, your own ‘outside space’ but best of everything was the super friendly staff who gave a real warm welcome!

Super comfortable stay. Francisco was waiting for us and did everything to make our stay as easy as possible. We were a group of 6 pilgrims. The albergue is on the route and very easy to find. It was exactly the comfort we needed to rest properly. The beds were comfortable. There was hot water with good pressure, perfect for relaxing sore muscles. The property has a washing machine and dryer, with detergent included. There’s also a restaurant 2 minutes away on foot that serves meals and tapas with quality and flavor. We definitely recommend this place so that pilgrims can rest comfortably.

Merchy is a super friendly and excellent host. The house has everything you need and a great location for exploring the West Coast of Galicia.

Super clean. Lots to do. Lovely pool for tired bodies and feet. We used a bag transfer and that went well. Good food left for breakfast/lunch. Amparo is lovely. Welcoming and helpful
