Very easy to find on the way through Labastide. The room was very comfortable, air-conditioned and the hotel staff let us in early. The shower had easily the best pressure and heat of our entire stay in Spain. Beds were the best we've had in Spain. Although we didn't eat at the hotel the breakfast and dinner menus were extensive and reasonably priced in comparison with other restaurants in the area. If we stay here in the future, we'll definitely be dining here. We had a meal in the bar part of the hotel which was absolutely superb - patatas a la jatorenna - or something like that, extremely hearty fare. There's a swimming pool within a 100 yards, but take a bathing cap (yes, fellas too) or you'll have to pay 3 Euros for a new one. Do yourself a favour and walk up to the old high street - it's by the church that you can see from the hotel - where there are many bars and restaurants. Just over an hour away from the port at Bilbao and a good alternative to Haro.

We loved the historic building that the apartment was in and the spacious and shady garden.

The apartment was very clean and well appointed. Being on the third floor, it had wonderful views and a small balcony from which to appreciate them. Luis met us with the keys and was hospitable and friendly.

The location is close to bars and restaurants. Parking is easy. Super clean and comfy bed. Aircond AND ceiling fans? This is too good. Wifi is good.

The house is situated in the heart of La Rioja. A fabulous base to explore the area. The host Roberto was most helpful and his house was everything we could wish for. I would really reccomend the Chalet . We enjoyed some lovely food & bought some lovely wines.
