We had a lovely stay at this beautiful cottage. The house was perfect - clean, modern and an idyllic location just yards from the lake. We were greeted on arrival by the friendly host Clare, who gave us all the info we needed. The house has all the important amenities, and the park itself is very well maintained and has fantastic facilities. The beach and the pool were the highlights for us. We didn't take our children with us for this holiday, but for families, there is everything to keep the kids entertained - swings, mini golf, tennis courts, kids' pool etc. We also had a lovely time exploring the scenic surrounding areas. The food at the golf club (a two-minute drive away) was excellent, and the La Grange du Lac restaurant is a must for any visitors - absolutely stunning. All in all, we had a wonderful few days, and highly recommend this cottage. We will certainly be back again

Lovely little place with pool and backyard. Glorious countryside and next door to Paul and Kaa with their lovely animals as well. Perfectly located for the wedding we attended at chateau de la couronne and had some really nice local villages, cafes and restaurants. Particularly nice of Paul and Kaa to book us a table at Bistrot 16 for our last night where we enjoyed Cote De Boeuf amongst a beautiful sunset in the garden of a vineyard. Highly recommend.

La Petite Fontaine is a lovely gite for two, although it looks very small from the outside photos it really is quite spacious inside with a big bathroom upstairs. The charming owners stayed up until past 10pm to welcome us as we were running late and they were mines of information about the local attractions. Being in a tiny rural hamlet it is very quiet and there are several countryside walks that can be started from the front door. The location is good being right on the Charente/Dordogne border and the little town of Montbron is just a 20minute walk away or 4 minutes by car for little shops and eateries. Montbron also has a well-stocked Intermarché hypermarket with a petrol station and car charging points. The towns of Brantôme en Perigord (in the Perigord/Limousin national park) and Jarnac (in the beautiful Cognac region) are worthy of note within an hour's drive.

Both Collette & Albert were very kind and superb hosts. We would 100% return if in the area again. The sleep was amazing ...the beautiful smell of the open fire, and meeting our wonderful hosts was an amazing welcome after a long journey!! Highly recommend this stay! The hosts are a pleasure to speak to and very accomodating with amy requests. The buildings are veru spacious and picturesque. The location is beautiful and relaxing

We received a warm personal welcome from our host. The apartment is beautiful and very well equipped. The location is peaceful and secluded and perfect for rest and refreshment. Happily, there is a restaurant within walking distance, only minutes down the road. We loved our stay and happily recommend this property as a perfect peaceful getaway.
