Such a tastefully decorated house, I could have moved in there and then and not changed a single thing. The artwork was exquisite and beautifully curated, and it was a joy to sit in such a lovely room to eat breakfast. The weather was poor but glimpses of the garden looked lovely. The location was chosen to visit places that are dear to me. The stairs two floors to the converted loftspace were steep but no problem to us rather unfit pensioners. Exceptional value for money compared to a number of the hotels we stayed in on our journey.

Beautiful stone cottage overlooking countryside, log burner in the lounge, comfortable beds. The hosts have local wines available to buy which is a very nice touch, the burgundy was superb. Little touches such as fresh ground coffee is very much appreciated and my son and I really enjoyed the breakfast the next morning. We would happily stay for a week or more next time

A wonderful week staying in Dave and Viv's lovely apartment. The apartment was spotless, spacious and very comfortable (good quality beds and bedding). However, what made this stay truly special was D & V's generosity in sharing their garden, games, outdoor dining and joie de vivre with us. As others have said below, they are the kindest of hosts, and their kindness turned what is already a very good property into a brilliant holiday. Thank you so much!
