Staff very nice and helpful. No lift (as expected) so a bit of heaving luggage up/down stairs. Bit tricky driving right into the centre to drop off luggage at the door, then drive car out and up to the top car park, but safe parking and only about 100 metres walking back down via a shortcut path. And having a parking place outside the gite! After arriving we sat up on the bank in the late afternoon sun drinking a glass of wine - perfect! The gite is small but that is what you expect when staying in an old house in a medieval village. We loved the fact that Cyril’s family have lived in the village for five generations and were the village ‘tourneurs’. And in one of the local shops we found we were talking to his cousin! The town itself is beautiful and largely unspoilt. A surprise was waiting around almost every turn.
