L’Auberge du Sombral is offering accommodations in Saint-Cirq-Lapopie. Each room at the 2-star hotel has city views, and guests can enjoy access to a bar and to a terrace. Everything was wonderful; very clean and the breakfast had fresh squeezed orange juice. What a treat!
Located in Saint-Cirq-Lapopie, Charme et jardin cœur St Cirq features a garden. The guesthouse provides both free WiFi and free private parking. Wonderful studio overlooking St Cirq Lapopie. Very spacious old building, our studio was under the eaves, had air-con and a fully appointed kitchen. The back garden has the best views in town and is a perfect place for meals in a garden filled with flowers. The owner Marie could not have been a better hostess.
Located in Saint-Cirq-Lapopie, 24 mi from Rocamadour, and a 10-minute drove from Pech Merle Caves, Le Mas de Laval features free WiFi access in the public areas and free private parking. The place was beautiful and the hosts had thought of every detail - incredible scenery, greats rooms, delicious breakfast and outstanding pool!
This residence is located in unspoiled forest just 1.9 mi from shops in the village of Saint Cirq Lapopie. View from the cabin was fantastic Campsite is not too crowded and set in lovely woodlands The panoramic cabin is great, well equipped, and spacious enough for two people
We had a beautiful stay in this hotel, the room was absolutely gorgeous with a stunning view. Everything about the room was superb. The village is so beautiful with lots of lovely cafes/restaurants and little shops. The breakfast was so lovely and served on a lovely terrace overlooking the village. Would highly recommend the hotel & village ❤️
Indeed one of the most beautiful villages! Not all the stores and restaurants were open as my visit was in October which is not peak season but that wasn't an issue. There were still plenty of good restaurants to visit.
Loved Saint-Cirq-Lapopie. Wonderfully preserved small old village in a beautiful position high above the Lot river. We really only had one day so spent the morning exploring the town and in afternoon we drove to Bouzies and walked the first kilometer of the towpath back to St-Cirq-Lapopie, and we had a tour of Perche-Merle caves. Could have stayed much longer and spent more time exploring the village and the walking paths nearby. Could have also walked the whole towpath and got a boat for the return trip. Pleas note that Perch Merle caves which are amazing and well worth the visit need to be booked well in advance in summer, either on website which I found difficult, or by ringing which was easy. Dont be put off if you can only get a French speaking tour. They give you a booklet with all the information in English. Finally after we left St-Cirq-Lapopie we went south to Najac which is another bastide town and evn better preserved than St-Cirq-. Lapopie. Well worth a visit
We loved our visit to St Cirq Lapopie and had great weather so we enjoyed swimming in the river, as well as walking in the town and surrounds, plus visits to other nearby attractions, particularly Pech Merle. As you can tell from any photo it is quite a steep village and any visit will involve stairs
The place was beautiful and the hosts had thought of every detail - incredible scenery, greats rooms, delicious breakfast and outstanding pool!
